Where this came from.
Biz Dev App is an operating platform for businesses that work through partners: shared pipelines, shared deals, shared upside. The recurring failure was never finding the deal. It was proving, eighteen months later, who had brought it in and what they were owed.
We tried doing that in a database. A database records what the person who owns it says happened. It is fine until the relationship is worth arguing about, which is precisely when you need it.
So XODIAK was built as its own network rather than as a contract on someone else's: custom consensus that weights verified reserves, post-quantum signatures from genesis, and a settlement engine that treats the split as part of the payment. It settles our own attribution first. Anything we sell to you, we have already run against our own money.
Five things we will not trade away.
The record outranks the application
If the application and the chain disagree, the chain is right and the application is broken. We do not build features that require the reverse.
State that cannot be quietly edited
Corrections are new entries, not overwrites. A settlement that was wrong stays visible next to the one that replaced it.
No float, no spread
We do not make money on holding your balances or on a rate that is wider than it looks. The fee is the fee.
Own the infrastructure
Our own hardware, our own chain, our own keys. Vendor dependency is a business risk before it is a technical one.
Say the uncomfortable thing
Our own status page says block production is paused, because it is. A status page that flatters the operator is worth nothing to the person relying on it.
Post-quantum from genesis
Not a roadmap item. A record meant to survive twenty years is signed for twenty years or it is not serious.
